01Who we are

airu (airu.be) is operated by SUN EATER SRL, registered at Avenue Louise 209A, 1050 Ixelles, Belgium, VAT/BTW BE 0794.677.052 ("we"). SUN EATER SRL is the data controller for everything described in this policy. For any question about it, write to hello@airu.be.

02What we collect

The waitlist form asks for exactly three things:

• your email address
• your preferred material (stone or wood)
• your preferred scent (Amber, Grove or Open Air)

That is the data we keep. Serving the site also produces standard technical logs at our hosting provider (IP address, browser type). We use your IP address transiently to protect the form against abuse; it is kept out of the waitlist itself.

03Why we collect it

Your email lets us write to you once, when the first production run is ready. Your material and scent pick guides how many of each we make; it stays a preference and creates no obligation on your side.

Legal basis: your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time by replying to any of our emails or writing to hello@airu.be; we remove you the same day.

04Who we share it with

Two processors handle data under our instructions, and only to run the service:

• Resend (email infrastructure): stores the waitlist contacts and sends our emails.
• Vercel (hosting): serves the site and produces the technical logs above.

We sell no data and run no advertising.

05How long we keep it

Until the launch email has been sent and the first run has shipped, or until you ask to be removed, whichever comes first. Removal requests are honored the same day.

06Your rights (GDPR)

At any time you can:

• ask for a copy of the data we hold about you (access)
• have it corrected (rectification) or deleted (erasure)
• restrict or object to its processing
• receive it in a portable format
• withdraw your consent, with immediate effect

Write to hello@airu.be for any of these. You can also lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (autoriteprotectiondonnees.be).

07Where the data lives

Our providers run infrastructure in the European Union and the United States. Where data leaves the EEA, the transfer rests on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (GDPR Art. 46).

08Children

The site is a product waitlist aimed at drivers. It is not directed at children, and we knowingly collect nothing from anyone under 16.

09Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes reach the waitlist by email.
